Lomi-Lomi means 'to knead' in Hawaiian, but the experience feels more like being carried. Your therapist works with warm oil and broad, sweeping forearm strokes that flow continuously from one part of the body to the next, rarely breaking contact.
The constant rhythm quiets the mind as much as it loosens the body. It is a wonderful choice if you find traditional massage too segmented, or if you simply want to switch off completely and drift.

How is Lomi-Lomi different from Swedish massage? +
Both are flowing and relaxing, but Lomi-Lomi uses long, continuous forearm strokes that move over the whole body without breaking, creating a wave-like, almost dance-like rhythm. Swedish massage works more in distinct sections with the hands.
Is the pressure firm or gentle? +
Lomi-Lomi is generally medium and soothing rather than deep. The focus is rhythm and flow over intense pressure. If you would like firmer work in certain areas, tell your therapist and they will adapt.
What should I wear? +
You will be fully draped throughout. Undress to your comfort — most guests keep their underwear on. Your therapist leaves the room while you settle on the table.
How often can I have it? +
As often as you like — it's gentle and restorative. Monthly visits keep stress and tension from building, and many guests return between deeper treatments simply to switch off.
What is your cancellation policy? +
Reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. Within 24 hours, 50% of the treatment is charged.
